Special Olympics at Lynhaven

On Friday, April 5th, Lynhaven students participated in our own Special Olympics. There were 72 students in all who had a wonderful time playing basketball, scooter ball, getting their faces painted. They all received a participation ribbon at the end. Here are some photos from the day! I am so proud of these students and our same-aged peers from the General Education classes who came to support and participate with them. Big thank you to our P.E. teachers, Coach T. and Mr. Prado, and Cameron from the Special Olympics along with our district team who helped make this happen!
