Hello Lynhaven Families!

I was born in Anaheim, across the street from Disneyland in a small hospital that is no longer there. I lived in Southern California as a child and moved to the Bay area in 1989, just in time for the big earthquake. I have been working with children in one way or another since I was 16. I taught competitive gymnastics and dance for many years and when I felt like I needed a change, I got my Associates in Early Childhood Education and taught PreK and TK at private schools for 11 years. In early 2021, I decided I was ready to move forward again and get my teaching credentials. I should be finished with my credential program by April of 2023. My favorite part of teaching at Lynhaven is working with many different teachers and watching their different teaching styles. In my free time I like to dance, do yoga, listen to all kinds of music, and cuddle my Husky/Whippet mix fur baby. A fun fact about me is that my mom was British and I was able to spend every summer in England as a child with my many, many, many cousins. (My mom was one of 20 children.)
