State testing begins 4/22

State testing will begin soon. Formerly known as the SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium), the test is now referred to as CAASSP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress) 

Important information:

-All 3rd through 5th grade students in General Education and Special Education will be tested beginning April 18th with practice tests. 

-Testing will take place for all grades beginning on 4/22 PROMPTLY at 8:30am  until 10:00am. Testing days vary for grades so please talk to your teacher to verify the dates and times. Students arriving AFTER 8:30 will not be permitted into the classrooms and will have to make up the tests. 

-Students are encouraged to bring their own headphones for the tests so that they are comfortable. We do have the earbud type headphones for them to use. 

-As always, its even more important for our students to get a good night's sleep and eat breakfast during testing. 

-We ask that appointments are not scheduled during the testing times. 

- Most importantly, we remind our students to do their best everyday, get a good night's sleep, and eat breakfast. We appreciate you supporting this message as well.
