As a parent of two children at Lynhaven, I have a lot to keep track of. I like our three new online apps for different reasons. Each one is a MUST HAVE for every busy parent who wants to keep up with what's happening at school! 

1. REMIND--this is great for last-minute reminders from our awesome principal Ms. Rowan and my daughter's teacher too. They can text back personally to me and I can ask any questions I have. LOVE this. It keeps me in the loop and I know I won't suffer from missing out on spirit day reminders, special event reminders, or even classroom events!

2. MY SCHOOL ANYWHERE--this is a fantastic on line school directory of families, faculty, and has a link to our school google calendar right on my phone. Here's where I sign up for school events like the pumpkin walk, the holiday fair and the walk a thon, and I love signing up online to bring a treat to the teachers and see when teacher and office staff birthdays are! This is the app that really brings our community together.

3. SEESAW-- I LOVE getting a picture text from our teacher of some work my daughter has done in class. She suffers from the classic "I don't know" syndrome...where "I DUNNO" is her answer to any question I ask her, especially, "What did you do in school today?"--so this lets me see what's going on and feel a part of her day! Please ask your teacher for details on how to join SEESAW! 

I LOVE that Lynhaven is up to date with the latest technology! As a Silicon Valley School, we are RIGHT ON TREND!! GO LYNX!!!
