Congratulations Ms. Ajlouni!

Ms. Ajlouni will be the new Principal at Blackford Elementary next school year!

After being at Lynhaven for almost 8 years, our wonderful Ms. Ajlouni will be leaving the position as our Assistant Principal to become the Principal at Blackford Elementary in the fall! We are so proud of her and can't put into words how much we will miss her smiling face on our campus everyday. 

Ms. Ajlouni started at Lynhaven 8 years ago as our Equity Coach and her main role was to support our teachers and help with staff development. I realized very quickly after working with her that I had found my partner to lead this school with as our Assistant Principal. The next year she took on that role and we've been an amazing team ever since. 

Ms. Ajlouni leads with her heart and makes sure that every child knows that they are cared for and appreciated daily. She is responsible for  bringing our yearly Pinwheels for Peace program to our school along with initiating our Valentines for our Belmont Village Seniors, and Jump Rope for Heart. She is a strong advocate for our district initiatives like Profile of a Graduate and also our work we've done to become an AVID elementary and ensure our students are prepared for their college or career goals. 

While I am very sad to see my partner of 8 years go, it makes me happy knowing that she will be able to spread her love for children and passion for equity and meeting the needs of all of our students, with another school. They are lucky to have Anne who will surely follow along in the footsteps of their previous amazing and caring administrators, Corrine Frese and Jen Jasper. 

We wish her all the best and know that this is not a goodbye for Lynhaven, but a "see you around". She is once a Lynx, always a Lynx! WE LOVE YOU MS. AJLOUNI!
