Campbell Union School District is partnering with Engineering for Kids to offer our first GATE Enrichment Academy! These Saturday sessions will be free of charge, paid for with parcel tax funds.

Electronic Game Design: Invader Defense - Shark Attack! In Invader Defense: Shark Attack, we will create our own version of an invader defense game that will allow us to protect a coral reef from hungry sharks. Aerospace Engineering: Up, Up, and Away Students will use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine a variety of flying machines, such as lunar vehicles, air-powered rockets, and a hot air balloon model. Robotics Engineering; Robotic Olympics Students design and program robots to compete in simulated Olympic Events, such as sprinting in a race, throwing a basketball, and shooting a hockey puck into a goal. Registration Information:
- We would like as many students as possible to benefit from these sessions, so you will only be able to register your child for one session for the year. If you register for a session, you are committing to attending all five classes for that session.
- Families are responsible for transporting their children to/from Saturday classes.
- Registration is based on a first come, first served basis, and is not guaranteed for all interested students. If classes fill up, you may email sday [at] campbellusd.org to be added to a wait list.
- Registration opens on February 15, 2017 at 8:00 am. To register, please visit the link listed for the session your child would like to attend.
