History Making Spelling Bee!

We had a history making spelling bee last Friday that lasted for almost 2 hours! It was not completed until almost an hour after school was dismissed! Twin sisters Sumner and Simone Schwartz spelled over 70 words correctly and it came down to having to pick words from the dictionary! This has never happened before! The winning word was zoology and Sumner spelled it correctly to end the Spelling Bee in First place with her sister taking Second place. Congratulations to the Schwartz sisters! We are all so proud of everyone who participated and studied so hard for our Spelling Bee. You all did your very best! Thank you Mrs. Pineda, Mrs. Gomez-Garcia, and Mrs. Judson for your help in putting on this event and a special thank you to all of our 3rd through 5th grade teachers for your help in preparing your students!
