Important Dates to Remember
Enjoy your summer, but first please mark these important dates on your calendar! Look for details in your Welcome Back envelope which should arrive in your mailbox during the third week of August.
Wednesday, August 17
KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP - Watch your mail during the second week of August for more information about Kindergarten Roundup. You will receive an appointment for your incoming Kindergartener to have initial assessments by one of our Kindergarten teachers. This appointment will last approximately 20 minutes. If you are unable to make your appointment, your child will be assessed after school starts.

KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION - Our Kindergarten Teachers, along with the Principal nd Assistant Principal, will have an orientation in the cafeteria. Important information will be shared on this evening. We hope to see you there.
Tuesday, August 23 at 5:00 pm
CLASS LISTS POSTED – PLEASE BRING YOUR FIVE DIGIT STUDENT ID WITH YOU to find your child's class. This number can be found in the envelope which will be mailed to you in early August. No names will be listed for privacy.
Wednesday, August 24
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL – School begins at 8:05 am. Adult supervision begins at 7:55 am. We serve breakfast with supervision beginning at 7:30 every day and this includes the first day of school. Your child will need money on their account unless they are a free lunch student. Wednesdays are minimum days with dismissal being 1:10 for TK through 3rd grade and 1:15 for 4th and 5th grades.
WELCOME BACK COFFEE AND DONUTS–At 8:30 am, after you have dropped off your child in the classroom, we invite all TK, Kindergarten, and new families to Lynhaven to come in for coffee and donuts in the cafeteria with the Principal and Assistant Principal. This is a great opportunity to meet other families and school staff.
Wednesday, September 7
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT - Please join us on this evening from 6:00-8:00 PM to meet your teacher and find out about the classroom and school expectations for the year.
Friday, September 9
ALL SCHOOL BBQ LUNCH - Please join us for a BBQ hot dot/hamburger lunch with your student during their lunch time. TK-1: 11:30-12:10, 2nd-3rd: 11:55-12:35, 4th -5th: 12:15-12:50. The cost of the lunch for adults is $3.00, and students cost is the same as regular lunch days.
