Dear Lynhaven Parents/Guardians, 

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr., a civil rights leader who believed in something so great he was able to pave the way to end segregation. In honor of his dedication we wish everyone a safe and restful three day weekend, no school Monday 1/16.

Traffic Concerns

If you have traffic concerns about street traffic or drivers near Lynhaven, or anywhere in the City of San Jose, you can complete an online request for traffic enforcement support here. Services are assigned based on the number of requests that San Jose PD receives.

Volunteer Packet 2022-2023 For any supervised volunteering. 

Volunteer Packet - No Live Scan Form  This will be if you at any point will be with students with NO staff supervision. Ex. field trips, book fairs, etc.

Attendance & Reported Absences
Reporting your child's attendance is the first step. Please note that attendance is not cleared immediately after notifying. As morning tardies, calls, voicemails and emails are handled in the order received it may take about 24 hours for a reported absence to be cleared, so we gratefully thank you for your patience. 

When calling please clearly state your child's full name, date, relationship, reason for absence and symptoms if calling in sick.

For all doctor or dentist appointments a note is required to excuse the absence.

-Please note, failure to call for a reason of absence is automatically counted as unexcused.

Gates

The gates are open at 7:55am-8:06am daily , 1:05 pm Wednesdays , and 2:05 pm every M/T/Th/F. 

If you arrive past 8:05am please stop by the front office for a tardy pass.
