Principal's Corner

Mark your calendars for the annual Pumpkin Walk and Halloween Parade. The Pumpkin Walk is on Saturday, 10/22 from 2:00-6:00 pm. There is a flyer in this Thursday's envelope with more information and a spot for VOLUNTEEERS to sign up!! We need your help to make this event as successful as it's alwasy been.

Also, our other favorite event this month is the Halloween parade on Monday, October 31st from 8:30-9:00 am on the blacktop. Families are welcome to come, but please remember siblings are not allowed to walk in the parade. There will be cones out for families to stand behind so that the students can sit in front and have room to walk.

Some things to remember:

*Pretend weapons of any type are not allowed at school. (ex., light sabers, swords, guns, etc.)

*Masks cannot be worn.

*Students will need to change out of their costumes after the parade, so please remember if you choose to use make-up and hair dyes, use them sparingly and send a change of clothes with your child.

Lastly, due to the unfortunate situations with clowns in the news recently, clown costumes for children or adults are not allowed at the Pumpkin Walk or Halloween Parade. Thank you for your understanding. We hope you can join us for both of these fun events!
