Safe Parking and Driving Reminders

Recently it's been brought to my attention through parents and our neghbors, that people are not respecting the neighborhood. We have people who are making illegal and unsafe decisions when parking and dropping off students. We have been contacting the traffic enforcement department who will come out and cite any car that is: 

-blocking a driveway

-blocking a crosswalk

-making illegal u-turns in the middle of the street

-parking/dropping off in the red zones in front and back of the school 

-moving garbage cans to park a car for drop-off and not moving them back

We also ask that you do not allow your children to dart in between cars in the parking lots. We all want children to be safe upon arriving and leaving school. This starts with you. Please make every effort to model for you children the appropriate ways to drive and park in the neighborhood.
