Reminder to PREORDER your Walk-A-Thon T-shirts by THIS FRIDAY! Yes, it seems early but our WALK-A-THON is coming up fast on Friday, May 27th! This is one of our kids' favorite events and a HUGE fundraiser for our school!  Students ask friends and family to sponsor them (flat donations, please) in their laps around the blacktop and ALL proceeds go directly to the classrooms and our school needs. This event happens during school hours and we need lots of VOLUNTEERS for set-up and to help guide the students and tally their laps at this event. Visit thttp://www.lynhavenelempta.membershiptoolkit.com to volunteer.
TALLY THEIR LAPS, you say? How will we do that? Well, our special WALK-A-THON T-Shirts are not only a great keepsake of the event and a shirt they can wear to show their school spirit for years to come, but the t-shirts also have their lap tally boxes right on the back! Our goal is to have 100% participation in this fundraiser and as many kids sporting their Lynx spirit as possible! So turn in your first $20 in pledges by PREORDERING your special event shirt by FRIDAY, APRIL 15! (There will be NO shirts available without a Preorder.) Fill out the bright gold form that went home last week or go to our online store:
http://www.lynhavenelempta.membershiptoolkit.com  to order today! Thank you for supporting our wonderful school!

Phase 2 of construction of the new Multipurpose Room and Staff Room/Work Room/Administration Buildings begins over Spring Break.

On April 11th you will see construction fencing blocking off most of the front of the school and some of the parking lot. Traffic in the main parking lot will be combined into one lane for morning drop-off and pick-up, due to the fencing and space needed for demolition.

Please be aware that this new traffic pattern may slow down traffic and all drivers will need to follow the No Left Turn onto Cypress between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. to ensure traffic continues to flow.

On April 11th, the Main Office will be located in Room 2 and the current office building will be fenced off for demolition.

We know this will be inconvenient and also know that the long-term benefit of this construction will be great for our students and school.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
