FAQs

Do I need to attend both presentation rounds?

A: No.  Each teacher or teacher team will present the same information twice so that families with more than one student can see at least two classrooms.

Can I bring my children to Back-to-School Night?

A: The information you will hear during BTSN is for adults; however, if you do not have a childcare option, we still encourage you to attend. We ask that you keep your children with you as we will not have adult supervision on our playgrounds.

Do we need to attend the Welcome Meeting?

A: We very much hope you will attend!  We will be sharing information about how to stay connected, how to support learning at home, and how to be involved at Lynhaven. We will also be introducing the local artist who created the artwork for our new MultiUse Room.

Will I be able to talk privately with our teacher about my child?

A: Back-to-School night presentations are for the entire class, and the teachers will not have time to meet individually or privately. We highly encourage you to reach out to your teacher for a scheduled conference at ANY time.  You do not need to wait until Conference Week in October.
