We hope you had a restful and rejuvenating break and are feeling ready for the exciting year ahead. As we kick off the new year, we look forward to continuing our journey together, supporting each other and fostering a strong community. We wish you all good health and happiness in the months to come. Let’s make this year a great one for our students, staff, and families!
A special thank you goes out to the amazing teachers and staff. Our admin Mrs. Callaway-Wilson and Mrs. Ramirez were inspired by the way the team turned the challenges of this morning's power outage into opportunities to engage students in creative and innovative ways. This truly highlights just how talented and resourceful our teachers are, even without the use of technology—taking us all back to the 'olden days' for a little while! Their dedication and adaptability truly make a difference!
On a another note, we also want to express our heartfelt sympathy to any families who may be affected by the Southern California fires. Our thoughts are with them, and we wish safety and strength during these challenging times. Please read below for further resource information.
And again, welcome back, and here's to a wonderful 2025!
In Partnership,
Lynhaven

Resources for CA Wildfires
|
If you know someone impacted by the recent California wildfires, here are some resources to share that can provide support:
- Emergency Assistance: The American Red Cross and Cal OES offer shelters, food, and recovery services (wildfirerecovery.caloes.ca.gov).
- Financial Support: The California Fire Foundation and GoFundMe’s Wildfire Recovery Fund provide financial aid to families in need.
- Emotional Support: The Disaster Distress Helpline (1-800-985-5990) and NAMI California offer mental health resources for those affected.
- Basic Needs: The LA Regional Food Bank distributes food and other essentials to families.
- Rebuilding Help: The California Department of Insurance offers guidance on filing claims and rebuilding (architecturaldigest.com).
- Support for Children: Project Camp provides trauma-informed activities for kids dealing with the aftermath.
- Animal Care: Pasadena Humane Society helps rescue and care for displaced pets.
Please pass these resources along to those in need—they may make a world of difference.
