Another successful Spelling Bee in the books!

Last Friday we held our Annual Spelling Bee and had 20 students in grades 3rd-5th participate! After several rounds, the last 3 students standing were Jeremy, Lizann, and Darren. The winning word was astronautical (definition: the theory and practice of travel beyond Earth's atmosphere) and it was spelled correctly by 5th grader Jeremy in Miss Calicchio's class! Mr. Tamekuni's 4th grade class was represented by our 2nd place winner, Darren, and our 3rd place winner, Lizann (all pictured below) Congratulations to everyone who participated in the spelling bee!
