Believe Catalog Fundraiser 9/25-10/20

This week is the last week of our Fall Fundraiser. We are 38% to our goal to match last years sales and there is still time to help. This is our biggest fundraiser until Spring. We appreciate your support to help us fund field trips, classroom enrichment and more. Alternatively, the PTA always accepts direct donations on our website

Physical forms should be returned to your teacher or the front office no later than Monday, October 23. You may still place online orders at www.shopfund.com

Halloween Boo-Grams on sale!

Halloween Boo-grams are an annual tradition at Lynhaven Elementary. Students and families may purchase Halloween treats to be distributed to other students and staff on Halloween! They will be $1 each or for a group price if purchased for the entire class. Forms are available in the main office or you may find class and generic order forms here. You may drop off forms and payment in the PTA Dropbox in the main office or to your teacher. Please return orders no later than Monday, October 23.

COVID Tests

If your student is showing any covid like symptoms we strongly recommend you test them with an at home antigen covid test. If you do not have any at home we have free test kits available to pick up from the front office.

Yard/Noon Duty Assistant

As a Yard Duty Assistant you play a huge part in keeping our students safe during recess and lunch as your key responsibility is to supervise and guide students.

If you are interested in a part time paid position and consider yourself to be a good role model and mentor for students then you should  join our team!

Attendance

Please see below for FAQ and information.

I dropped off my child at school. Why are they marked absent? Students are expected to be in their classroom seats by 8:05am. If your student arrived after the late bell it is best to send them to the office for a late pass to avoid confusion.

I called to report the absence already, why am I receiving a notification they are absent?Attendance is not cleared immediately after notifying. As morning tardies, calls, voicemails and emails are handled in the order received it may take about 24 hours for a reported absence to be cleared, so we gratefully thank you for your patience.

Excused Absences
Once a student reaches 10 days of excused absences, we require that all subsequent absences be verified by a physician, school nurse, or other school personnel. (California Education Code 46011). Verification of absences must be provided within 20 days of the absence.

Doctors Note
Doctors or dentist notes/letters can be submitted in person to Andrea or via email to lynhaven_attendance [at] campbellusd.org

For all doctor or dentist appointments a note is required to excuse the absence.

**Failure to notify absences are automatically counted as unexcused.

**For information regarding the CUSD Attendance policy please click here.

**For information regarding COVID-19 Resources please click here.

All absence can be reported via:

Attendance Phone: (this is a voicemail only line)(408) 341-7041
Attendance Email: lynhaven_attendance [at] campbellusd.org
Parent Square: Once notification goes out you may reply with a note.

When calling please clearly state your child's full name, date, relationship, reason for absence and symptoms if calling in sick.

We thank you for your partnership! As we tell all our students, remember to
Act Responsibly, Behave Respectfully & Care for all!
