Respectful driving and parking is expected at school

Recently, we have had neighbors around our school and fellow parents complaining about the parking and driving of our Lynhaven families. Disrespectful notes have been left on cars about parking and neighbors have had their garbage cans and gardening debris moved causing it to be unable to be picked up. This is unacceptable. We are modeling appropriate behavior for our students. As a reminder:

*U-turns in the middle of the street in front of the school is illegal and dangerous

*the WHITE ZONE is for loading and unloading of students, not for unattended parked cars. 

*the RED ZONE in the front of the school is NOT a drop off or pick up area. This causes the flow of traffic out of our parking lot, down Cypress, and the cross streets. 

*Please do NOT run across the street especially with your children, use the cross walk and our crossing guard for safe crossing. 

These expectations are for the safety of our students and parking enforcement will ticket drivers who are not following the driving rules. Thank you for your support of our school.
