Welcome back!

Ms. Ajlouni and I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year. We're so excited to see our students and families and hope you're ready to get back in the swing of things. We just want to remind you all about a few things:

*DROP OFF/PICK UP- Dropping off and picking up of students in the front of the school in the red zone is NOT allowed. This causes unnecessary back up on Cypress and with people making  u-turns in the middle of the street, that causes a dangerous and illegal situation as well. Many parents have asked if they can help report cars to the SJPD traffic enforcement department to help with the safety of everyone. 

*ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL TIMES-Students may not be dropped off before 7:45 if they are having breakfast or 7:55 if they are not. This poses a supervision issue as supervision does not begin before 7:45. Dismissal is at 2:10/2:15 and 1:10/1:15 on Wednesdays and students need to be picked up promptly. 

*FLU SAFETY-This year the flu strain is even worse than in the past. Please help us keep your children and everyone on campus as healthy as possible by making sure they are encouraged to wash their hands frequently with soap, not just with hand sanitizers, get plenty of sleep, and drink lots of fluids.
