Walk-N-Roll Next Challenge
It's time for our next Walk-N-Roll challenge!
The Walk n' Roll program is running a "Walk n' Roll Week" during the 4th week of each month through May. Students are encouraged to walk, roll, or get some indoor exercise for at least 15 minutes each day and then submit their completed activities on the January Walk n' Roll Week form. If a student has extra energy and participates in more than one activity during the day, they can check off multiple activities. Students may submit the form at the end of the week or separate forms for each day. Here is the form. (Click on the word form)
They are also offering a quick Bike Safety tip each month. Here is more information on that:
- Scanned copy or a photo of the activity sheet
- Student's name and grade
- Teacher
- School
Schools with at least 30% of students participating will be awarded a "Golden Shoe" certificate. Student responses about their favorite place to walk may be featured in upcoming Walk n' Roll newsletters, provided they have permission from the student's parents.
